Thanksgiving

I love this picture of the children and me meditating under the Bodhi tree where Buddha was born in Lumbini.  We were actually giggling most of the time so I have no idea how Ben (Kopila Fellow) captured this picture, but he did and it makes me smile.

I am so so thankful for this very big family of ours and each and every day that I am given, filled with challenges and lessons, laughs and joy, my highest highs and lowest lows. I have been so blessed and I am thankful and grateful to be here on this journey. I am thankful to all of you for your continuous support and generosity, making it possible for our family to be a family and for our children to have a home, food, love, and an education.

The volunteers and I actually managed to put quite the Nepali Thanksgiving Feast together last night with one of our Kopila Turkeys. We found a couple cans of cranberry sauce and some gravy packets and everyone put a dish together using what we could scrounge together with some creativity. The best was Kelly's apple crisp. Yummy :)

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Thanksgiving!  xo
