Dear friends,

Today is International Day of the Girl, and this reminds me of the sad reality that 324,000 girls are not attending school in Nepal, many are coerced or forced into manual labor, and 25% of young women in Nepal are married as teenagers.

Our Big Sisters’ Home is a refuge for girls who are at risk of exploitation, abuse, suicide, or child marriage. We want to help more girls complete their education, know their value, build life skills and supportive social networks, and thrive! This is good for their families, communities, and for all of us.

In honor of International Day of the Girl, I’m proud to share with you this brief video celebrating the impact of our Big Sisters’ Home.

Girls deserve freedom. Will you help secure a home and a future for girls in crisis?

Watch our new video, and see what a difference your gift will make.

$41 feeds one big sister for a month. (Will you make a monthly commitment with a recurring gift?)

$170 provides caregiver, helper, social worker and counseling services for a month.

$442 keeps the lights on and provides electricity and internet for the Big Sisters’ Home - for a year.

$5,167 provides shelter and annual rent for the Big Sisters’ Home.

Big Hugs,
Maggie
