A Few Things…

Last night was spaghetti night! In satsung we taught the kids the "My Favorite Things" song from the Sound of Music. Ask my family how much I love that movie. It pretty much defines my childhood. Then the older kids watched the movie EverAfter. It was the first time I've let them watch a movie with so much kissing in it.
Sarah, Lex, Libby and I had a girl's night out... in my room. It included staying up till one A.M. listening to the new Beyoncé album (we're obsessed), watching funny youtube videos, and wearing face masks. Speaking of face masks, Beyoncé, and all things glamorous, I've been nominated as a finalist for Glamour's Woman of the Year. Very flattering indeed, especially since 99% of the time I don't feel very glamorous over here. Most of the time I just feel lucky if I get a shower in. I don't want the weekend to be over already! Today we're scrub-a-dub-dubbing the kids, combing for lice, and cleaning the house from top to bottom. If that's not #GLAMOUROUS then tell me what is.
I have a lot on the docket this week. Good thing I am starting to feel back to my old regular self again.
