25, What?!

It is officially my 25th birthday!!! I'm home in NJ after a very long few days of airplanes. I feel like I just time traveled and it still hasn't really sunk in that I'm here. It still hasn't hit me that I'm 25 today! 25!!! Say what?!?! I am getting REALLY dressed up and going into the city tonight for the Glamour Awards! Thank you to Morgan Giordano and ALL OF YOU for making this happen.
The weather is absolutely stunning and beautiful and this is my first birthday and my first fall home in 7 years! The leaves and the air take my breath away and I find myself looking out the window and sniffing the air outside every 2 minutes like a puppy.
25 feels like a big year for me. I know it's only a year and a number and I'm still young and nothing will change (blah blah blah) but it almost feels like I've been 18 all this time and then BAM, last week I woke up and realized I was turning 25. I have 40 children!! I have a school! I live in Nepal!! It happened in a flash, a blink, and omg, where did the past 7 years go? We celebrated a lot at KVCH-- the Nepali holidays, a trip to our favorite secret river beach spot, and a huge halloween bash. It was perfect. I had a birthday party at Kopila too with all my other November babies-- Krishna guy, Kamal, and little Namraj. My Uncle, Dad, Julia, Jeff, James, Sarah and Tope even managed to swing a little surprise birthday party at our favorite restaurant in Surkhet.
You know who else was born on November 7th?! N!! We share the same birthday! He is turning two today. TWO!! My baby is turning two and he is the best birthday gift I have ever gotten in my life. It's all just amazing.
My thoughts are so scattered right now. I'm jet lagged. I woke up wide awake at two this morning and walked into a standing lamp. I might have a black eye. I got to choose a designer dress to wear tonight on this website where you get to choose anything from like ten thousand dresses thanks to Glamour. The whole thing stressed me out so much that I passed the job on to my cousin Julia. It arrives today and is sparkly and glittery. I have no idea if it will fit! I'm getting my haircut and putting on make-up for the first time in months, getting all glammed up. I also decided I'm going to extend my birthday until tomorrow too and wear my sweatpants and go for a hike and read and bake all day. I'm also going to sit down and write my children a letter. I will have so much more to write, I'm sure tomorrow! I really just wanted to share where I am, and why and tell you all how absolutely grateful and excited and overwhelmed I feel today! Thank *you*.
