There are few things more comforting than a warm cup of tea. Here at Kopila the aunties make the best chai in the whole world. We wake up to it first thing in the morning and every day around 3:30 or 4pm when there’s a dip in the day they make a pot. My friends who have come here to visit often tell me how much they miss the “aunties chai” and how much they crave it. It nearly always makes us feel better. We wanted to share the aunties’ secret recipe for you to try at home if you are in need of a little comfort right now.

We decided to extend Earth Day Kopila to an entire week! Please join us and follow along April 29th - May 3rd as our students make Earth Day magic. Our teachers will be teaching lessons on the importance of the environment in all their classes. There’s going to be an Earth Day scavenger hunt and art competition! Our Eco Club and the student ambassadors are doing community engagement programs and roadside clean-up's. That’s right, #trashtag challenge here we come!

The grass was so green, the sun was setting, and there was the most beautiful rainbow I've ever seen right over the playground. It was 6:30 at night and there were literally hundreds of children there. It took everything in me not to burst into tears.
