You taught me that true, pure love exists
It all started when I was 6 or 7, I don't quite remember, but I do remember the first time I saw you. You had blue eyes just like the Atlantic Ocean. I got so scared because you were white, and had blond hair. I thought you were another species, to be honest. They asked me if I wanted to stay with you; gave me a choice. In spite of being so scared, I don't know what made me say yes. Since that moment, you have been part of me and my life. For the unknown decision I made when I was small, I am thankful each and every day.
