I want you in our school, I want you in our school, I want you in our school. But you can’t be in our school! You’re from so far away from such a small village. There’s no one to take care of you here in Surkhet, how will you make it through 14 years? But you’re so playful, you’re so bright, you’re so...CUTE. I want you in our school. But you can’t be in our school! You’re one of 5, all living separately with different neighbors, where are your parents? It’s so unfair. I want you in our school. It’s not feasible, it’s not possible, I should stop thinking about you. No, I can’t. Maybe we can ask Tope to fix this. He fixes everything. I’ll ask him. I asked him. Let’s see. I’m nervous. I’m sure you’ll be fine even if you don’t get in our school. I’m sure you’ll be taken care of and loved. I’m sure you’ll be educated and safe and empowered. Except I’m not sure of any of those things at all. Tope spoke to one of your neighbors. She’ll take care of you in Surkhet while you’re at Kopila Valley School! You can play and learn and grow and make a mess at our school! You’re in! You’re in! You’re in! I’m exhausted. I really hope this works.
