The Dentist
Together we sat through 20 cleanings, 6 root canals, 9 extractions, and too many fillings to count. There were, of course, a lot of tears, but overall the whole thing was a really positive experience. I loved that fact that the dentist was young and female and made such a powerful impression on the kids.

A New Generation Of Change-Makers!
I’ve spent the past few months going into schools in the area and talking to children and young people about the work I’ve been doing, my journey over the past few years, and what I’ve learned from it. I’ve been to high schools talking to students about gap years and the importance of world travel and to middle schools talking about what it means to help others.
