Our Home Sweet Home

I realize I haven't posted a picture of our house since we were going through construction– mainly because I never stop and take the picture. But Tara came to visit and did, so here it is, our home sweet home, the place where we pass our days, the place where you can always find the children laughing, dancing, climbing in trees, riding bicycles or screaming at the top of their lungs throwing a tantrum. There's something always spilled, mud traipsed through the house, and lots and lots of fingerprints on the walls, with the occasional cockroach/mice infestation. But it totally rocks and I love it and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else or with anyone else. Here are some of my home goals for 2010!
Try to grow grass
1 additional bedroom for guests/volunteers
Additional sink/basin for teeth brushing
Solar water heater
Build/buy an oven
Build a second outdoor gazebo for sitting/playing/games
Plant more trees (and have them thrive)
Generate more/better compost
Fix up the new cottage next door
Build a set of monkey bars
Use less plastic bags
Finish putting up screens on all the windows
