Love Apocalypse

We all had so much fun this morning at our first annual Kopila cross country run.  I totally could have been a news broadcaster.  Don't you think?  This is definitely going to be one of our new annual traditions.  It was such a blast.  Hopefully next time the kids will learn to pace themselves a little... they all started out sprinting and we exhausted after the first 100 meters.  I keep wishing I had ridden on the motor cycle and gotten some shots of the kids all running.  It was adorable.

There was a lot of talk this weekend about the world ending, even all the way over here in Nepal.  Poor Shanti was so afraid, she came to sleep in my bed on Friday night. So I told her about Love Apocalypse, and how I really think this year is going to be filled with more love than ever.  For our Love Apocolypse night we made spagetti and popcorn, sat by the the fire and watched movies. The kids watched Arthur Christmas on the projector while the volunteers and I watched Love Actually in my room. I can't believe I hadn't seen it before. It was so good, I didn't even fall asleep! I have a reputation for doing that a lot around here during movies.

Having the flip cam out this morning reminded me that I have to start taking more videos of the kids.  Goal for 2013!
