Bad News And Good News

Ok, so what do you want first... the good news or the bad news?
I’ll start with the bad news and get it over with. Nepal is having some problems right now. Transportation has halted for the past two weeks. Yesterday people could only go places on foot. We were supposed to be starting construction of our second story but this will hold us back quite a bit. All of the transportation companies and sectors of the government are fighting with each other. Unfortunately, all of our building materials come from 3 hours from here where there’s also a lot of political tension. Prices of building materials have skyrocketed and no transportation is running in and out of our of the city. So in terms of construction, we are at a standstill. We just have to wait it out until we can get some materials here and keep going. In the meantime, there’s still a lot of work to do and A LOT of people coming.
The good news which WAYYYY outweighs the bad news is that we are getting water tomorrow... OUR VERY OWN WATER!! Our life will be so much easier now. This is really really big. There are 5,000 people in our city who have sent in their water applications and are also waiting. They pushed us to the front of the line because they heard about the good work we are doing. YAY for water, yay for good work!
I am going to savor every drop.
