What Happened In Vegas…
Today was an unbelievable day!!! I am still soaking it all in over here in Las Vegas and am still in utter shock and disbelief at how blessed we've been. It is with so much excitement and joy in my heart that I share this news...

First Day!
My volunteer Jake just sent me pictures of all our new students on their first day of school. Orientation has been going on all week along with book, school supply and uniform distribution. Looking through these pictures my heart was soaring. R (pictured above) is one of my favorite picks for 2011. She applied this year for the second year in a row and this time she got in! She poured her little heart out in her interview. It was the only interview over the course of a week where Tope, our school's chairman who has seen IT ALL had to walk out of the room with tears in his eyes. R is the oldest of 5 siblings and has spent most of her childhood taking care of her younger brothers and sisters.
