Anjali giving her Do Lecture Photo by Richard Beaven
Hello dear readers,
These last couple of days have been a whirlwind and for whatever reason I've stayed away from technology, other than a few updates and videos here and there on our Facebook Fan Page! (Thanks for all the love over there.)
Traveling with Anjali has been the gift of a life-time. Other than a few nail biting moments when we got flagged at customs and border patrol, it's been smooth and fun, with lots of giggles and new discoveries; sweet flight attendants, escalators, elevators, yummy meals, and the most kind hearted people and beautiful friends.
The Do Lectures USA, were amazing!!! I have to admit I was crazy anxious about this whole thing. But when Anjali stood up at the podium with so much grace and poise and honesty, I realized how important it was that her story was shared, just the way she wanted, wrote, and worked so hard on. I've never ever felt so proud and in typical Maggie fashion, I sat in the third row crying my eyes out. (We will be sharing it with you soon.) Big special thanks to Anna and Duke for creating so much magic and beauty and making us feel right at home.
We're ending our California Adventure with a bang here in Fairfield and all of you northern Californians are invited! (Details below) Please do join us if you can. We're working on our Wishlist and raising funds for our newest project, Kopila High School!
Thanks and Love,
Maggie
