news!

Hi everybody! I've been back home all week in Surkhet. Things have been busy (as always). Thanks for all your advice regarding my last post. We've been tightening up the Kopila ship this week big time.  As most of you all know, I've been a little overextended this year. By a little I actually mean A LOT. Overextended and depleted although totally blessed. That being said, I have an exciting announcement.

We are welcoming a NEW school principal!  He's here.  His name is Jeff. He's a professional master education extraordinaire. Our school will be in very good hands. I am handing over the baton and a few pounds of weight off my shoulders and we're all stepping up the school another notch. The entire team here is so excited for what's in store for the next six months!  Welcome to Jeff and hopefully I can introduce him a little more here on this blog while our midterm exams are running this week.

In the meantime BED!

xo  Maggie

Maggie,
This is excellent news! Besides a few pounds off your shoulders, I have great trust and belief that by "letting go" of some resposibilities at Kopila Valley Home and School all will continue to brilliantly shine, grow and accomplish more than anyone could have imagined. You are the very best!
With great admiration and respect,
Teri

Best news I've heard in a long time! I am so happy for you Maggie and for everyone. It's a beautiful stage of any passion-project, when you find the people who can pick up where you need to leave off, and who can bring new and wonderful things to the efforts. Enjoy!

Love,

Marianne

Hi MAggie-

After I read your post I happened to be listening to a program about "naughty" children. They were explaining that children within some ages are not able to express emotions and grief and they re-inact what they see and feel. I am wondering if those boys are traumatized in some way such that acting it out is their release.
I am so happy you have the new guy on board - much lova and a BIG hug to Sanju

Congratulations Maggie on Jeff's appointment. I'm sure his experience and knowledge will be a real asset for the school.

We heard about the earthquake in northeast India and Nepal and mourn the loss of life there. Have you considered having an earthquake drill in the event of another?
