I baked this cake in a frying pan. I need a big cake tray.
If you listen carefully enough (in the video above) you'll hear that I broke out a little Katy Perry ♫. I couldn't help it, the candles were sparking!!
And Maya took her birthday wishing very seriously. She is NEVER like this in real life just so you know... good thing I caught it on camera. She read me an entire story in bed this morning. I got teary-eyed thinking about how just four years ago she was a little waddling toddler who taught me every Nepali curse word I know.
Naveen makes me laugh at least two times a day. He is the Chatty-Kathy of our household. He'll come up to you and tell you story after story with his big brown eyes, wide like "YOU won't believe what happened next," like it's the craziest most amazing thing you've ever heard in your whole life. He told my friend a few weeks ago on skype that he looked like John Cena. I had to google John Cena because I had no idea who he was talking about and when I did I couldn't stop laughing. I still have no idea where he learns these things and pulls them out from.
Ganga is the sweetest little sweet heart in the whole world. She is as good as they come. She is love and goodness embodied and brings so much light to this house in her own silent little way. What a blessing to our home she has been this year. It's kids like her who make me want to have another and another and another.
