i am loving...

Evening walks around the neighborhood with my children.

Bonding with Namraj and celebrating each time he falls asleep in my arms or lets me change his poopy diaper.  He was a little weary at first and I may or may not have had to entice him with one of Libby's Reese's peanut butter cups that my mom sent for her.  (shhhhhhh.)

Hearing all the kids' new vocabulary and how confident they are speaking English!  (Thanks to rockstar English teacher Libby!)  Naveen told me I was a little "absent-minded" yesterday for forgetting where to turn the form in for the boys' big up and coming soccer tournament.  I was like where the heck did you learn that word?!  He told me from the book Mr. Popper's Penguins, duhhhhh.

Early morning jogs before the heat kicks in and yoga with the kids on the rooftop.

Teaching math and getting to hound everyone for not knowing their multiplication tables and then making up silly songs and dancing around the classroom singing "8 x 8 is 64" and "7 x 7 is 49" and on and on and on and having them laugh at how crazy I am.

Falling asleep early (jetlag!) and waking up hot and sweaty with mosquitos buzzing all around but happy because there's two sleeping little kids with their arms and legs wrapped around me and falling right back to sleep.

Ohh ... Naveen you have one of the best smile of the world and it seems you are gently a psychologist too. Maggie: children have fear to be forgotten everywhere...he seems to suggest: we missed you Maggie a lot, look us please!

People able to nurture so softly expressions into children are precious.

Sweet dreams Namraj and colleague...I think your first vlog will be a must.

Oh Maggie - the fabulous pictures of your rapturous homecoming and now these descriptions of your daily delights are such a great way to help us feel just a portion (probably) of your happiness --- and that's a LOT!
Welcome back! The love is just radiating off of my screen.Though it was so nice to know you were resting "just down the road", now it's so nice to see you so alive in Surkhet. Let the stories flow!
