Hanukkah!

Lexi with the kids and our first Hanukkah candleThe children all heard the beautiful story of Hanukkah tonight from Lexi and lit the candle in celebration of the first night.  Happy Hanukkah to our friends who are also celebrating!

We're still busy getting ready for our big annual open house and performance day coming up this SUNDAY! We've invited hundred of guests and have lots of preparations to make.

Our whole family pulled names for a secret santa so we'll also be busy little bees buying gifts this week and trying to keep whoever we have a secret.

We wrote a letter to Santa asking him to make a trip to Nepal and the kids all cleaned off the roof tonight so the reindeer had a clear place to land.  I can't get "you better watch out" out of my head.

I hope you are all as into the holiday spirit as we are!  What a wonderful season.  Sharing holidays with the little ones here is special and helps me from missing being home this time of year.

xoxo  Maggie and the gang

Maggie,

I just wanted to tell you, what I hope that you already know. You are a beautiful woman, and I don't just mean your exterior. It takes a really special and wonderful person to do all that you have done with and for those children and that community as a whole. I hope that you have a magnificent Holiday Season, whatever Holiday you happen to be celebrating. You are a true hero and an inspiration to the World!

With much love and respect,
