Can you imagine*
Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 02:00PM
Villagers waiting in line to see the exam results from the entry exam. My Dear Readers,
Tomorrow morning, June 7th (almost exactly one year since this), 220 students will be attending their first day at Kopila Valley Primary School. As you can guess, we’ve been pretty busy around here! Surkhet is bustling with excitement. There are a million more things to do. Just four of the classrooms are complete so until the entire school buildings are done we're running from the house and a building we are renting next door. The school is gorgeous! Tomorrow marks a new beginning, can you imagine! Thank you so much! Photos to come...xomaggie

Dear Maggie, Kopila Valley volunteers and the staff at the Kopila Valley Primary School,
Congratulations to all who have made this important dream come true!
Best wishes for a successful first year. Besides providing an excellent education to those who might never have the opportunity, as shown in the photo above, you are giving the children of the valley, their parents, family members, and the entire community the gift of HOPE as you share the value that all children deserve the right to a quality education and a brighter future! All of Nepal will be a better and stronger country when that right is provided to every child in Nepal.
Blessings to all!
Teri

I can't even imagine how exciting this must be for everyone involved.
Congratulations...and thank you for all your effort...You are one of a kind and a true inspiration
CONGRATULATIONS! Got a peek of pictures from the first day at Orr's site! You guys are awesome!
This is HUGE! You are always so inspiring with your amazing accomplishments. Congrats!
This is so fantastic Maggie! Well done you. So excited to see how it all unfolds for you...thank you so much for sharing your journey with us...such an inspiration.
Congratulations to you and your team/supporters, Maggie ! There's just no stopping you !
MAGGIE!!! You are my hero and am amazed via the super positive-get-it-done attitude, you so gracefully posses.
perhaps we can find a way to animate my movie/animation concept and give the procedes to the remaining '80 million' orphans around the world.am thinking about contacting the guys who gave you the hundred grand about finding a source to create my dream to help parentless kids, like your growing 'family',you lovingly now care for.
you truly re-inspired me (eyes watering ) to do such a project, but it's frustrating to promote such a proposal, because the animation world has never considered this simple idea; 'having regular kids see the movie, knowing they are helping orphans from the procedes.a non profit animation film! with kids helping kids by seeing the movie!
Will be checking your progress and will contact you if a source is found to make my own dream come true.

Maggie,
It is so inspiring and selfless work you are doing. I am from Nepal and work for one of the largest school districts in Florida and U.S. A. (Palm Beach County School District). When I read your profile and accomplishment (in your early age), I am so inspired. Thank you for your selfless effort for helping needy children in my home country.
